A 44 year old woman with carpal tunnel syndrome was treated with surgery. Later she developed Dupuytren’s contracture in both hands, mostly right-sided. Shockwave therapy was introduced to both hands and it resulted in the complete loss of all the symptoms.
Shockwave therapy is useful and presents one of most effective, conventional and non-invasive treatment for Dupuytren’s disease.
